Introduction
The School of Entertainment Contents aims to nurture global, convergence-oriented entertainment leaders who can innovate and drive the international cultural content industry. As K-culture, centered on K-POP, establishes itself as a new standard in the global cultural landscape, there is a rapidly growing demand for specialized professionals capable of holistically understanding and creatively utilizing diverse K-content, including K-POP, performance, dance, music, film, and drama. To meet the demands of this fast-evolving environment, our department focuses heavily on cultivating cross-functional talents who combine creative innovation, practical field expertise, and a sophisticated global mindset. Our department offers a comprehensive, systematically structured curriculum that encompasses performance, dance, music, theater, acting, media, content production, and the broader cultural industries. To maximize educational efficacy, the department is divided into three specialized majors: K-POP Entertainment, Performing Arts & Video Content, and Contemporary Music. Through project-based education that seamlessly bridges theory and practice, alongside hands-on, field-centered training, we fully support students in experiencing and mastering the practical core competencies actively required in the professional arena. Amidst the shifting tides of the global cultural content industry, students in our department develop an integrated understanding of performance practice, content planning, and the cultural industries. Guided by creative thinking and strong collaborative skills, our students graduate as exceptional professionals ready to pioneer the future of the global entertainment industry.
