The Department of Hotel and Tourism is comprised of three major fields, which include Hotel Management, Tourism Administration, and Event & Convention Management. The field of Hotel Management takes a strategic approach in order to conduct research on luxury lodging operations, and it further examines revenue management and frontline service excellence from traditional foundations to modern digital adaptations. The field of Tourism Administration lets the students analyze regional development, sustainable tourism policies, and global travel trends, which enable them to comprehensively understand the broader tourism ecosystem. The field of Event & Convention Management provides an understanding of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) industry, and it also strives to bring out a sense of creativity and organizational expertise in the students.
