Introduction
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology aims to educate professionals for next-generation IoT technologies that integrate information across physical and virtual worlds. Beyond artificial intelligence and basic connectivity, the department prepares students for a future IoT environment where humans and objects are seamlessly connected, while developing balanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills across hardware and software.
Through the advanced department support program, undergraduate students are nurtured as 5-STAR level talents, where 5-STAR refers to competencies in Speciality through micro-majors, Team-based learning, AI-oriented practical training, and participation in R&D projects. Students engage in hands-on activities such as team projects, laboratory internships, and developer competitions throughout their studies.

To cultivate top-level specialists in advanced fields, the department offers four specialized tracks: Autonomous Intelligent Systems, IoT-Connected Digital Twin, Intelligent Sensing and Control, and Intelligent Communications and Networking.
